It is currently 2:25am. My weekend of sleep derivation begins now!
The whole day I felt like puking because I couldn’t stop thinking about the benefit. But I got a lot of work done tonight and I feel significantly better. We currently have 55 tickets reserved, which doesn’t include the 40+ musicians who will be entering for free (and buying tons of food) and the other 50 or 60 people...

Cover the Night 2012
I’m pretty upset with a couple of restaurants/stores that wouldn’t let me put up posters, and were really rude about it to me. Like, saying no is enough, don’t fucking dog me like I’m some fucking criminal. And I’m REALLY fucking pissed at the security people around the malls. If I can’t tape stuff to light posts and trash cans, fine, but don’t fucking rip...
Disappointment
When I came to school this morning, I anticipated seeing at least a handful of people with a Kony 2012/Invisible Children shirt on. I didn’t. When I asked several people who were planning to go to Cover the Night tonight if they were still going, I received the following answers:

College Talk
These past couple of days have really been enlightening and humbling for me. I’m really glad I got the chance to talk to Jazper several times throughout the course of this week. While the conversations we had weren’t necessarily filled with things I wanted to hear, it definitely makes me feel better about decision-making. I’m hoping I become more confident with whatever decision...

Woody Harrelson: I was on my bus, and on my bus I have a yoga swing. Jennifer comes on, and she goes, 'Hi, Woody, I'm J—is that a sex swing?' Her first sentence to me.
Josh Hutcherson: When I got cast, she called me up for one of those five-minute 'Excited to work with you, blah, blah, blah' things. The conversation started with her saying, 'Think about a catheter going in – ouch!' and then turns into a 45-minute rant about zombies and the apocalypse.

I had never heard of the books until the movie previews came out and was not drawn to read them until after the hype. I still haven’t read it in its entirety, but I saw the 11:20pm showing tonight and I must say that I thought it was a really great movie. Maybe not so much in that it follows the plot line of the book word for word because I hear some fans are a bit disappointed with it, but...
