It’s been a while.
I can’t remember the last time I actually posted something on here :p My apologies to anyone that has grown tired of my reblogging rampages. I’ve been immensely busy, but that’s nothing new. Nor is it really an excuse buuuuut…
- Finals week has been pretty chill for me. The only final I’m slightly worried about is tomorrow for AP Lit, but I’ve come to terms with the fact that no matter what I do, I will always get nothing higher than a 6 on Pearson’s essays :| A sad truth, but I know it’s only doing me good for the AP exam.
- Since Winterline was cancelled (I’m still not over it…), I decided to join Pomerado’s Community Band. I’ve always wanted to for the longest time, but things kept getting in the way. Last night was my first time at one of their rehearsals. It felt good to be back in that room with the teacher that inspired me to pursue music. I met their Oboe player, Sue, and she agreed to give me lessons and help me out for my college auditions starting Monday :D I’m so excited! I’ve never taken lessons before, and I was slightly against the idea of taking them because they’re too expensive, and they make me feel like less of a musician, but I seriously can’t wait to work with Sue on Monday (: I can’t believe my very first college audition is next week…it seems so soon, and I feel so unprepared.
- Speaking of band, I didn’t make it into Honor Band this year. Merp. Oh well.
- Speaking of band, I have no idea how I’m going to pay for anything anymore. So I’m selling myself as a photographer! :D I really enjoyed shooting for Jazzy’s Debut, and I figured picking this up would kinda kill two birds with one stone; I get to fulfill my desire to shoot photography as a hobby and still continue working towards my passion. So uhh, if y’all ever need a photographer for anything, hit me up! (:
- After the Gov “final” today, Richard asked me about the show A Day to Remember is doing with Rise Against in April at SDSU’s Viejas arena that I had no idea about. Thank God he said something! Otherwise, I probably wouldn’t have found out until it was too late to get tickets. They’re sooo expensive though @______@
- Speaking of shows, I still can’t believe TDWP isn’t making a stop in San Diego this Spring :(
- I want to start planning a Road trip up to Great Oak for SCPA Prelims :o
- I need to get more on top of planning for my IC Benefit Show :/
- I don’t know what to do for my birthday. A fancy Debut is out of the question. A dinner with a few friends seems boring. Suggestions?
